Checking every stop

Each hour and sailing here is taken from a venue's own page or from an official source. The guide works out every distance itself, as a straight line. The whole set was checked on October 7, 2026.

Where the facts come from

Each venue's hours, floor and address come from its own site or its operator's pages. The casino or community gaming centre label follows the Province's list of gambling locations. That list was last updated November 20, 2025, and marks the two separately.

Sailings and terminal details come from BC Ferries, and transit stops from BC Transit open data. Clock rules come from the provincial government's own pages. BC made its last clock change on March 8, 2026, and clocks do not change on November 1, 2026. Rules for gambling come from the IGCO and the Province. The guide's six regions are its own and not official.

Some venue sites block automated reading. Their facts were read from archived copies of the same pages. Those hours are marked as last published, with the month.

How the guide handles them

No venue gets a score or a rank. If official pages conflict on a figure, the guide drops it or states that the pages differ. Holiday hours are left out; confirm them on the venue's own site. Race-day totals for Desert Park are left out, as published lists differ on one early-October date.

The guide computes each distance itself, as a straight line between map coordinates. They are not driving distances. The only travel times come from BC Ferries' own pages. Hours are local time as each venue publishes them: Pacific time across BC, Mountain time at Casino of the Rockies in Cranbrook. For the East Kootenay, the guide follows the provincial page published September 17, 2026, over an older news release.

In Metro Vancouver, only its nine casinos are listed. Community gaming centres there and in the Fraser Valley are not, nor is the Fraser Valley's casino. Beyond it come 23 venues and one racetrack. Each has its own page.
